strawberrybumfluff, but do you pay the UK licence fee £139.50, which funds BBC programmes, or the Irish licnce fee, which funds RTE? The IPlayer is great, I must admit, and I use it all the time. However, it is funded my British citizens. Channel4 is not a state Broadcaster, so is not funded by licence. Does this help?

We get BBC on terrestrial though, same with Channel 4. Why can we get 4oD but not iPlayer? 4oD says that Ireland can get it because we pay the licence fee.
