Just a simple and innocent thought… why cant we have these songs nowadays? I left India in 1982 and these songs remain fresh in my memory Saraswathy kataksham on all involved.. SPB, K Viswanath and the actors. I hope the new heroes will have time to look into these songs and reinvent our heritage.

Thanks for the comments. I shall provide complete explanation of this beautiful verse shortly. Pranavanaadam means the fundamental sound “OM”. According to Hindu mythology the universe was formed from the condensation of the echoing sound “OM”. That is why the primary God is “nada shareera” - remember the famous song from Shankarbharamnu. As a figurative way of telling, people say the first sound made by a child is equivalent to Pranava nadam.
