when these guys were just kids starting out they listened to carl perkins, chuck berry, the everly brothers..etc. then they started their own kind of music. they wrote their own words, played their own chords, and sang it their way. pretty damn good for a group of wannabes from liverpool!

Toby, I am referring to *1956*, when they were teenagers. The Beatles had talent, but they needed many years of practice to become a group worthy of the guidance of producer George Martin. Sir George took the Beatles to new heights. through the contribution of his elaborate orchestral arrangements.
